| This process flowchart outlines the steps that must be taken when any fossil is found during a NARG sponsored field trip and determined to be of scientific significance. This process is to be followed for any uncommon invertebrate fossil and ALL vertebrate material regardless if it is found on public or private property. Additional information regarding NARG's collecting policy can be found in the Bylaws.
